James Mawhinney commented: "Personally, I hate the term crypto currency".
"We like to think the whole cryptocurrency space is not so much about the cryptocurrency itself, but the technology it’s built on which is blockchain – technology that creates much faster transaction speed and enables transparency. As this technology start to proliferate, we see enormous investments taking in place. "
"If you look the big investment banks Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and the enormous amount of money they are now pouring into entire floors, dedicated to blockchain technology brokers and currency traders, you can see if the decisions are being made by these major global investment banks to invest in this space, clearly there is something to be at least looked at" concluded Mawhinney.
