Mayfair 101 Managing Director, James Mawhinney introduces to Proactive Investors Ross James from Accloud - one of their portfolio companies.
''Accloud was founded on the premise that micro and small businesses are locked out of a lot of the market opportunities that a lot of the larger companies have so we're trying to build communities in the developing nations to give them an opportunity they wouldn't otherwise have'', commented Mr Mawhinney.
Mr Mawhinney added: ''About three years ago Accloud and Mayfair first engaged, at the time Accloud was considering a listing on the ASX, we saw an opportunity mainly because of the scale and the social impact and also the strong executive team which was starting to be assembled around the business. It made a lot of sense for us to provide capital and also look beyond the Australian markets to see what other opportunities existed in broader markets''.
